As disappointing as Tuesday's 8-0 blowout to the Giants may have been, Wednesday's narrow 3-2 defeat was perhaps even worse for the Mets. They got a terrific start from Taijuan Walker, carrying a 2-1 advantage into the seventh inning, but a questionable decision from Luis Rojas brought Aaron Loup into the game and an end to his dominance as of late, with a two run double giving the Giants the lead for good. It's now the Mets' sixth one run loss in the last twelve games of a brutal stretch against the NL West and Sam Davis has the reasons why in recapping the night from Citi Field.
