Villanova once again wins the Big East Championship with a 54-48 victory over Creighton on Saturday. Both teams struggled to find the bottom of the net in the first half with Creighton failing to knock in even a single three. However, things picked up some momentum in the second half. With a tight affair down to the end, Villanova's senior leadership showed through with some stout defense and big shots late from Justin Moore and Collin Gillespie to top the Bluejays. It's another successful season for the juggernauts of the Big East, and coach Jay Wright spoke about the significance of winning at MSG. On the other hand, Creighton did more than enough to prove themselves as a talented tournament team, potentially even destined for the Elite Eight. Here's Ryan Gregware, Thomas Aiello and Tyler Hu signing off for the last time from the Big East Tournament with a recap of the final game.
