Miami gave shooting guard Tyler Herro a max rookie deal extension. Herro was the NBA 6th Man of the Year in 2022 and averaged 20.7 PPG for the Miami Heat. Last season the Heat were the no. 1 seeded team in the Eastern Conference. They managed to stretch the favorited Boston Celtics to a game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals before Jimmy Butler missed a potential game winning three at the end of regulation. Butler and the Heat will enter the 2022-2023 season undoubtedly with that same energy. Herro hopes to act as a spark plug from range as he has the past two seasons. Bam Adebayo remains their interior defensive menace. Kyle Lowry will hope to put a bad postseason behind him. The Heat did lost P.J.
