The Carolina Panthers lost to the New Orleans Saints in NFL Week 17 to finish their season 5-11. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater struggled with 3 INTs and was benched in favor of PJ Walker who threw 2 himself. Coach Matt Rhule seemed to be frustrated with the all around bad performance by the team after the defense played bad after showing improvement. The bright side was Curtis Samuel went over 1,000 total yards on the season joining his 3 other teammates, but the lack of points scored is disappointing.
