The Iowa Wolves played its second-straight game that needed overtime this time coming out on top as the Wolves outlasted the Memphis Hustle, 111-106, in double overtime on Tuesday at the Landers Center. Iowa (8-6), which lost to Austin in overtime Tuesday night, and Memphis (4-10) each scored just two points in the first overtime before the Wolves got all five points in the second overtime from Isaiah Briscoe. Briscoe’s points were the difference as the team forced five misses and one turnover and didn’t allow a point in the second overtime. Ahmad Caver sent the game to overtime with a driving layup with just 0.2 seconds left in regulation after the Hustle erased a four-point deficit with just over 11 seconds left. Ben Moore paced Memphis with 22 points while all five starters scored 10 or more points. For Iowa, Brian Bowen II recorded a double-double with a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. Matt Lewis tallied his first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. Vincent Edwards had 17 points while Briscoe finished with 16 points. Isaiah Miller and Brandon Sampson each scored 15 off the bench.
