AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali consolidated the innings with a 95-run partnership. Kieron Pollard ran AB de Villiers out in the last over as MI restricted RCB to 171/7. Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma got MI off to a flyer with a 70-run stand. Moeen Ali pulled things back for RCB with the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock in the eighth over. RCB stayed in the game by picking up wickets at regular intervals. However, Hardik Pandya wrapped up the chase with a 16-ball 37-run innings.
