Kreider scores historic 50th goal as Rangers fall to Hurricanes | Postgame Report

The New York Rangers succumb to the Carolina Hurricanes, 4-2 the final at the Garden. However, the story of the night belonged to Chris Kreider, whose goal with a minute and thirty seconds remaining may not have meant much to the game but represented his 50th of the season, becoming just the fourth Ranger to reach that pivotal mark. The Blueshirts jumped out to an early lead behind K'Andre Miler's second period goal but let things slide by allowing three consecutive scores to the Hurricanes, paving the way to the final outcome. The Rangers travel to Philadelphia tomorrow to take on the Flyers.
