The Illinois Fighting Illini (20-6) capped a dominant run in the Big Ten Tournament with a 91-88 overtime win in the title game against the Ohio State Buckeyes (21-9) on Sunday, March 14 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Illinois star guard Ayo Dosunmu was named Most Outstanding Player after finishing with 16 points and nine rebounds. Duane Washington almost singlehandily dragged Ohio State back into the game by scoring a tournament-high 32 points before coming up just short.
