My 2020/21 Premier League Predictions | Champion, Top 4, Relegation & Top Scorer

My 2020/2021 Premier League Predictions | Champions, Top 4, Relegation and Top Scorer. In today’s video, I’m looking ahead to the upcoming Premier League season and making my predictions based on the stats and tactics! ► SUBSCRIBE to STATMAN DAVE: http://bit.ly/StatmanDaveYoutube Liverpool walked the Premier League last season, as their Jurgen Klopp-assembled team found yet a new level and finally brought the trophy to Merseyside. Liverpool’s fearsome front 3 of Salah, Mane and Firmino all had incredible seasons once more - thanks largely to the creative prowess of Andy Robertson and in-particular Trent Alexander-Arnold from full-back. Not to mention their league-best defensive abilities. Many are predicting that Liverpool’s cycle is coming to an end but I think there’s at least one title left in this side and I’d back Klopp to win back-to-back titles - especially if they can bring in Thiago from Bayern Munich. Man City still haven’t addressed their soft underbelly (although they have been linked strongly with Kalidou Koulibaly) and that’s a real concern for me. Despite Chelsea’s FIFA-esque transfer window, in which they’ve signed Thiago Silva, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Malang Sarr, they’re still in the building stages as are Manchester United and Arsenal - all of whom are teams headining in the right direction at least. I’d also expect Spurs to make some serious ground on the top four this season given their strong record under Jose Mourinho and the addition of Doherty, although they may just miss out on Champions League football At the other end of the table I’d expect to see 2 of the 3 promoted sides (West Brom and Fulham) go straight back down alongside Aston Villa, whilst Brighton, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace could all be in serious trouble too. In the interest of balance, I have high hopes for the other promoted side - Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United - to have an excellent season and make a serious push for the top half - although they may just fall short this time around. Perhaps one of the more surprising predictions that I’m making is that Southampton will finish above Leicester City - I could see the Foxes having a pretty dire season for many reasons (Europa League fatigue, overreliance on Jamie Vardy, the loss of Ben Chilwell) and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them fall to mid-table mediocrity despite being in a pretty legitimate title race up until Christmas in 19/20.
