Richmond (9-4) overwhelmed the Bison 44-24 in the 2nd half to end a four game losing streak to Bucknell, and finish their non conference schedule with six consecutive wins. A 13-0 run with 8:07 left in the game ended any hope of a Bison comeback. Richmond center Grant Golden had a strong game for the Spiders with 22 points and 10 rebounds. UR forward Tyler Burton continued his impressive play with 15 points and 7 boards. Spiders guard Jacob Gilyard dished out 11 assists and snared 5 rebounds. Sharp shooter Nick Sherod hit five consecutive threes in the deciding Richmond second half run. It was a solid win for Richmond who opens A-10 play 12/30 against St. Josephs.
