Alan Shearer disagrees with Jamie Carragher on the 'rubbish' incident in Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Chelsea news: Alan Shearer has had his say on Sadio Mane's challenge in the opening six seconds of the Blues' thrilling 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. Alan Shearer is adamant Sadio Mane should have been shown a red card in the opening seconds of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday. The ball was played out to the left-hand side of the pitch, with Mane and Cesar Azpilicueta both jumping and challenging for the ball, with the former clearly catching the latter with his arm. However, Anthony Taylor only showed Mane a yellow card with just six seconds on the clock - leaving Thomas Tuchel incensed on the touchline. Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, when speaking after the match on Sky Sports, does not think Mane did enough to warrant a sending off. Chelsea boss Tuchel has claimed the VAR never checked the Mane incident - and also referenced the reverse fixture earlier in the season where Reece James was shown a straight red card. Tuchel said this after the game: "In the first game, we got the red card and the referee was so quick to give the red card. They did not check it, I hate to say it normally as I don't like a red card early in the game, it can kill it. "The public is here to see 11 vs 11, Sadio Mane should always be on the pitch because he is a brilliant player and a good guy, but it is a red card. "If you do not check and then can check our goal and maybe take it away... it is hard to swallow, but what can we do?" https://youtu.be/MlR8HrMou9o
