Time to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders again as this is the third time in four weeks that my Calgary Stampeders will face off against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. If you're following the Saskatchewan Roughriders schedule this is the third straight game they face Calgary as they're coming off of a bye week last week. This third match up for the season series is back at home at McMahon Stadium. After from what I felt was the best overall game the Calgary Stampeders played last week against the BC Lions including Bo Levi Mitchell looking like himself again. This game will still have potential playoff implications for both teams. Saskatchewan sitting at 5-4 and second in the west have lost their last two against Calgary who are now 5-5 third in the west on a three game winning streak including defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders 23-17 at home in Week 9 and 22-19 on a last second field goal in Week 10. Calgary Stampeders have clinched the season series but now set their focus on second in the west and be in position to potentially host or increase their off of hosting the Western Semi-Final game on Sunday, November 27th, 2021. Given how the season series has gone between the Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders, I'm expecting another close hard fought battle. Excited to see how this game plays out and of course I need to cheer louder and prouder in my red with many Rider fans attending. At least its back in Calgary so I'll have much more support compared to a couple of weeks ago. See if the Calgary Stampeders continue their winning ways in October like they have so far.
