Yankees go cold, get stomped on by surging Blue Jays | Postgame Report

After disappointing series against both the Angels and the Orioles, the Yankees headed into a big four game set against the Blue Jays looking to gain some separation in the Wild Card from their dangerous AL East counterpart. Game one, however, was a reminder of what the Yankees once were, with a comeback effort from Jameson Taillon pushed aside due to a scoreless outing at the plate and a bullpen blowup from Brooks Kriske, resulting in an 8-0 loss on Labor Day.
