Anthony Davis INJURY! AD Achilles Injury! Anthony Davis Injury Update Subscribe! Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis underwent an MRI today. The results showed no rupture of the right Achilles tendon. Davis will miss tomorrow’s game vs. Minnesota, and will be further evaluated by team doctors upon his return to Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Lakers lost by 17 points to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday and that was far from being the story of the game. Instead, every Laker fan was more focused on the status of Anthony Davis. Davis left the game in the second quarter after shooting two free throws. Davis was clutching his Achilles and limped off the court. Davis has been dealing with Achilles tendonitis as he appeared to re-aggravate the issue. Davis is set to have MRIs on Monday. Regardless of what the MRI says, it is safe to say that we won’t be seeing Anthony Davis in action in the immediate future. The Los Angeles Lakers have to be as cautious as possible with Davis. Achilles injuries are no joke and this is not something that could cost the Lakers the title this year, it isn’t something that could cost the title next year, but it is something that could cost multiple titles for the Los Angeles Lakers.
