At UFC 256 young Heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane face former champion Junior dos Santos. Gane was dominating the fight when in the second round he landed an elbow that dropped Junior. The fight was stopped and Gane was declared the winner. But dos Santos protested the stoppage believing the strike was to the back of the head. Almost two years later he would call out Gane again for a shot that he considered illegal against Tai Tuivasa. But the strikes to Tuivasa were considered legal as well, and Ciryl believes Junior shouldn't be upset about the situation. #ufc #cirylgane #shorts
