The National Hockey League gave a ruling on what is to happen with the conditional third round draft pick. If you recall that conditional draft pick was involved in the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers Milan Lucic/James Neal trade. The global pandemic with COVID-19 that paused and eventually wiped out the last month and half of the regular season did question what would happen to this draft pick. There was performance numbers attached to it in terms of goals James Neal scored and how many goals Milan Lucic was away. Just don't plan for or anticipate a global pandemic would happen when these trades happen but happy as you see in the video on what side the NHL leaned towards. Also talk about the trade and seeing how it impacted both Alberta NHL teams with James Neal with the Edmonton Oilers and Milan Lucic with the Calgary Flames.
