Don't forget to subscribe - https://tinyurl.com/y2ls7mtb The Michigan Wolverines started Big Ten season with a close one against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Hunter Dickinson was asked to do a lot with Austin Davis out due to injury, and he definitely didn’t disappoint. He continued his impressive non-conference campaign into the Big Ten opener, putting up 20 points on 9-14 shooting, adding 7 rebounds, as well. While it was a tough outing for Livers & Wagner (a combined 16 points), they provided some key defensive plays and were perfect from the free throw line, with Livers going 8-8 and nailing the final 2 to go up by 4 with less than 10 seconds remaining to ice the game. Eli Brooks proved to be a pivotal part of this one, putting up 12 points and showing his defensive chops throughout the game and especially down the stretch. While he’s been generally quiet, him stepping up in this one goes to show how deep this Wolverine squad truly is. Don't forget to subscribe!!! https://bit.ly/3772qqj The Michigan Wolverines remained perfect in non-conference play with a dominant 91-71 victory over the Toledo Rockets. Hunter Dickinson, Isaiah Livers, Franz Wagner, and Eli Brooks all had double-digit points in this one, but it was Dickinson who really shined, going 8-11 from the floor and pulling down a team-high 7 rebounds. It remains to be seen how he will fair in Big Ten play, but the importance of him continuing the high-level of play is paramount with Davis going down in the second half with an apparent lower-leg injury. The Michigan Wolverines rolled to a 4-0 start to the season with an impressive win over the UCF Golden Knights. Chaundee Brown led the team with 18 points, 12 of which came off of 3-pointers. Hunter Dickinson continues to impress, putting up 14 points and added 7 rebounds to lead the team in that stat. Michigan also had solid play from fellow true freshman Terrance Williams, who put up 10 points for the Wolverines and provided a spark off the bench. Despite a rough defensive start, Michigan put together a 22-4 late first-half run to take a 38-34 lead into halftime, but didn't stop there, going on a 20-0 run in the second half, as well, fueled by 3 Brown three-pointers. 00:00 - Intro 00:21 - Highlights / Analysis 15:27 - Stats 16:21 - What did we learn?
