Achilles Rupture? DOCTOR Explains Marcus Smart Calf INJURY (NBA)

Marcus Smart, NBA point guard for the Boston Celtics left Saturday's game against Los Angeles Lakers with a devastating left calf injury. Given the pop and mechanism of injury, many were worried about an Achilles tendon rupture. Gladly it was not! The team reported he likely suffered a calf strain and this was confirmed by MRI today. Marcus Smart suffered a grade 1 calf strain on his left side.
