We tactically review and breakdown the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur that saw Arteta's men win at home with fantastic contributions through a specific focus on breaking down the right flank of Spurs with Doherty using Tierney and Emile Smith Rowe. We consider the change in Arsenal's play having Odegaard as a 10 and how they are now able to at least create chances in the half spaces as well as in the traditional 3 lanes of play. For Tottenham, the injury of Son was critical as despite his great rabona, Lamela did not have the same impact as a 10 that usually Moura does, and with Son out Spurs lacked the ability to make runs in behind and spring on the counter. Despite Harry Kane's attempted heroics near the end, it was the Gunners that rightly took all three points. In this video we tactically analyse the matchup between Liverpool and Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel was able to get the best of his German counterpart, Jurgen Klopp, and helped Chelsea gain their 8th clean sheet in 10 games. Mason Mount scored the only goal of the game by getting at the end of N'Golo Kante's long pass and finishes the chance excellently against Fabinho and Alisson Becker. Timo Werner was able to break the deadlock thanks to a pass from Jorginho but VAR ruled out the goal. Sadio Mane had an excellent chance to give Liverpool the lead in the first half but was not able to finish Mohamed Salah's cross. The Blue's kept looking to exploit the high defensive line set by the Anfield side and used their pace to torment the Reds defence. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! Aston Villa maintain their European hopes up this season after defeating Arsenal 1-0 at Villa Park. The goal came after an early mistake by Cedric, who gave the ball away clumsily to Traore who assisted Ollie Watkins after. The possession was then primarily dominated by the Gunners who had some decent chances to equalise, however, Villa’s defence, commanded by Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa, was too solid. Additionally, Matty Cash and Emi Martinez had remarkable performances. Odegaard came in as a sub in the second half and showed tremendous promise, linking up well with Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe. Ultimately, Arteta will be disappointed by the result, however, won’t be entirely displeased by the performance. The Villains maintain their excellent form this season and can aspire high. #Odegaard #Arsenal #Aston Villa SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! In out most recent video, we tactically analyse Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Southampton. Arteta’s men are in great form after their fifth Premier League win in six games which has boosted them all the way up to eighth place. The game started with a poorly defended corner, which led to Armstrong’s goal, however, the gunners did not take long to retaliate after Pepe, who was assisted by Xhaka, scored in the 8th minute. Bukayo Saka scored the second for Arsenal, proving once again that he is an extremely exciting prospect. Lacazette finished off the game for the gunners, after scoring the third, capitalising on his current form. Cedric and Leno also had particularly good games in defence. Arteta will now be looking into the weekend fixture against Manchester United. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! We cover the Tottenham vs Leeds United game that ended 3-0 after goals from Son, Kane, and Alderweireld. While Bielsa's men showed a dynamic one-touch style of football, where they developed several chances, they were also error-prone, which led to the penalty against them. Mourinho played with a 4-2-3-1, with a double-pivot composed of Hojbjerg and Harry Winks, who proved to be very effective at man-marking. Ultimately, the superior quality of Spurs decided the match, in a game where Heung Min-Son achieved the mark of 100 Tottenham goals. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! We analyse the away game with Brighton where Arsenal was victorious and have continued their winning ways after a recent downturn in form. Arteta summoned the same 4231 formation that worked well, with Aubameyang today starting. However, it was Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe that shined in the system, with Lacazette also making a key contribution as a substitute. For Potter's Hove Albion side missing Ben White, we saw Bissouma shine again today with his quality on both ends although Brighton was ultimately unable to break the compact backline of Arsenal. Ultimately, Arteta will be happy that the Gunners move to 13th in the table. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! In a surprising turn of events, Mikel Arteta was able to get a fantastic result despite their recent results vs a Chelsea side that has dropped off in form as of late, culminating in a 3-1 victory at home. The key here was Artetat's use of the wingers in a system that allowed Tierney and Bellerin to thrive, supported by triangles created by Emile Smith-Rowe in his role as a dynamic, robust 10 to support both Saka and Martinelli. On the other hand, The Blues continued with their recent Werner struggles but showed some signs of life with Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi back in the frame. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media!
