Ilya Sorokin Struggled and the New York Islanders Are On the Brink of Elimination
The New York Islanders gambled and started Ilya Sorokin in Game 3 but Sorokin struggled and the Islanders lost 3-2. They are now trailing the Carolina Hurricanes 3-0 in their best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoff series. The Isles outplayed the Canes for long stretches of this game but Frederik Andersen was outstanding while Sorokin let in three soft goals.
