CS Universitatea Craiova

U Craiova 1948 Club Sportiv, commonly known as Universitatea Craiova , U Craiova, or CS U Craiova, is a Romanian professional football team based in Craiova, Dolj County, currently playing in the Liga I, the top tier of the Romanian football league system. It was initially founded in 1948 as a football section for the CSU Craiova sports club of which it was part of until 1991, when its berth in the league championship was taken by FC U Craiova following a privatisation scheme.

ASU Politehnica Timișoara

Asociația Sportivă Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara , commonly known as ASU Politehnica Timișoara, or simply as ASU Poli, is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Timișoara, Timiș County, currently playing in the Liga II. ASU Poli belongs to the Politehnica University of Timișoara and is a fan-owned phoenix club formed after the dissolution of the original FC Politehnica Timișoara in 2012. Also in that year, ACS Recaș was moved to Timișoara and renamed ACS Poli Timișoara, but the fans decided to create and support an amateur team, being of the opinion that ACS Poli is a fraud and a political maneuver.

FC U Craiova 1948

FC U Craiova 1948 is a Romanian football club based in Craiova, Dolj County, and currently a member of the Liga III. In 1991, promptly after the CS Universitatea Craiova sports club dissolved its football department, Fotbal Club Universitatea Craiova took its place in the first division. It was generally considered the same entity with the old club, and continued its tradition for the next two decades, but was reorganised multiple times and retroactively deemed an unofficial successor.
