Mikulčice is a municipality (obec) in the Czech Republic, situated 7 km south of Hodonín, nearby the Slovak border. It extends for 1,530 ha, comprising 1,955 inhabitants in 623 homes, and a biospheric reserve, containing beavers and storks.
Mikulice [mʲikuˈlʲit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gać, within Przeworsk County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres east of Gać, 8 km (5 mi) south-west of Przeworsk, and 32 km (20 mi) east of the regional capital Rzeszów.In the years 1975–1998 the town administratively belonged to the Przemyśl voivodship .
Mikulice [mikuˈlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobra, within Turek County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres north of Dobra, 11 km (7 mi) south-east of Turek, and 126 km (78 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
The Mikulčice Archaeopark is centred on the site of Valy or Na Valech, which is to the east of Mikulčice and immediately adjacent to the river Morava, which forms the boundary between the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The site of the Acropolis would have been a low-lying island in the Morava, which has now been canalised.
