Ancona-Matelica, commonly referred to as Ancona, is an Italian football club based in Ancona, Marche. The club is widely considered to be the heir of defunct former Serie A club Ancona, with whom it shares its official historical logo.

Ancona–Orte railway

The Ancona–Orte railway is a rail line in central Italy connecting the city of Ancona with Orte, and therefore with the capital city, Rome. The line crosses the Apennine Mountains from the Adriatic Sea to the Tyrrhenian Sea, passing through Foligno, Spoleto, and Terni.

Ancona Lighthouse (Faro di Colle Cappuccini)

Ancona Lighthouse is a lighthouse in Ancona on the Adriatic Sea. It is placed on the hill named Colle dei Cappuccini, from which takes the name, about 119.5 metres from the old lighthouse deactivated in 1965.

Pontedera Airfield

Pontedera Airfield is an abandoned military airfield in Italy, located within the town of Pontedera, in Tuscany in the administrative province of Pisa. It was an all-weather temporary field built by the XII Engineer Command using a graded earth compacted surface, with a prefabricated hessian surfacing known as PHS. PHS was made of an asphalt-impregnated jute which was rolled out over the compacted surface over a square mesh track (SMT) grid of wire joined in 3-inch squares.
