In this video we take a look at the 5 best fits for Albert Pujols and discuss/debate where we think he should end up playing the rest of the 2021 MLB season. TOP 5 Suitors for DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins Following His Buyout From The Houston Rockets In today's video, we take a look at some of the best landing spots for DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins following his buyout from the Houston Rockets. Among the teams we explore, we take a look at the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, and the New York Knicks. Boston makes the most sense here and Danny Ainge has showed continued interest in bringing the former perennial All Star in to help the Celtics on their quest for Title 18. Boogie Cousins could help provide a productive Big Man for Boston as they struggle to out-rebound and space the floor. The Lakers make great sense for a DeMarcus Cousins signing, especially since he was with the team when they won it all last season. Unfortunately, reports from LA have surfaced that the Lakers will continue on with the roster that they currently have, in the wake of Anthony Davis' injury. The Brooklyn Nets could use a big that presents a different skillset than DeAndre Jordan. Cousins can space the floor and shoot 25%+ from the 3-point line while Jordan is a pick-and-roll, paint dominating Center who is a defensive guru and offensive liability. Eagles players are furious with Doug Pederson, Howie Roseman, and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles organization after they intentionally THREW their Week 17 matchup. The Philadelphia Eagles showed a class that was unbecoming in Week 17 as they were in the midst of an intense battle with their division rival Washington Football Team and decided to bench their starting quarterback, Jalen Hurts, in an effort to see what they had in their third-string QB, Nate Sudfeld. Had the Eagles won their game in Week 17, they would have bounced Washington from the playoffs and given the division to the New York Giants. Joe Judge, the Giants’ first-year head coach, was extremely critical of the move to bench Hurts and throw the game, claiming that Doug Pederson has no integrity and he disrespects the sanctity of the sport of football. On top of Joe Judge coming out in frustration, many of the Eagles own players spoke to the media about their utter shock that Doug Pederson and company took the game from out of their hands and essentially chose not to compete. We heard from Jason Kelce, Zach Ertz, Miles Sanders, and others on their feelings toward the move to bench Jalen Hurts and for the expectation for them to continue to compete at a top-level while the coaching staff has all but given up. Cris Collinsworth mentioned in the Sunday Night Football broadcast that this was a planned move, to evaluate Nate Sudfeld with the Eagles top players, but the idea that this move happened at the start of the 4th quarter when you were only down by 3 points at the time, cannot be overlooked. The Eagles lost this game on purpose in an effort to both stick it to their arch-rival New York Giants and preserve their spot, drafting with the 6th overall pick in April’s draft. The most underrated division in all of basketball has to be the Northwest Division. These teams are not the flashiest and they are not riddled with names from the Top 10 current players list, but they have heart and soul and will work as a team to drop 140 points without even blinking. Welcome to the breakdown of the NBA's Northwest Division! With Jamal "50 Ball Jamal" Murray and Nikola Jokic heading things up in Denver, the Nuggets are one of the quietest deadly teams that the NBA has to offer. They work as a unit in everything that they do, and outside of their two superstars, they are built with perfect role players that perform on a nightly basis and can take over any game in and of their own right. The Portland Trailblazers have been in the running of the Western Conference for what seems to be an eternity, however, the one constant throughout it all is the duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. These guys are the heart and soul of this franchise, and frankly the city of Portland. Aided by players like Carmelo Anthony and Jusuf Nurkic, this team can dominate on any given night and will is not afraid to challenge any team in their path. Finally, the Utah Jazz have been building toward becoming a top team in the Western Conference for a while now, and they have the requisite pieces to get it done for years to come. Starting with their dynamic duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, these two are like brothers. They will not only lead the scoring but they will do the dirty work too. Gobert is always atop the leader boards for rebounding while Mitchell consistently has a top assists mark. They are the premiere team players. With a ton of young talent around them, this team has what it takes to challenge the Lakers and Clippers on any given night. #JamalMurray #DonovanMitchel #NBA2021Predictions Socials: Website: https://trashtalksportsmedia.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TrashTalk_Media Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TrashTalkSportsMedia Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trashtalk_sports_/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@trashtalksports_
The Atlantic Division in the NBA may actually be the most dominating and fun to watch divisions throughout the sport of basketball. The Brooklyn Nets, with the addition of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant finally taking the court, have a chance to play upset maker in the Eastern Conference as they looked like the most dominant team in the entire league. While the loss of Spencer Dinwiddie will be hard to overcome, the Nets may be one of the deepest and most talented teams we have seen in a long time. The Boston Celtics made a few upgrades in the offseason to address a lack of depth and athleticism in the front-court, in the form of Jeff Teague and Tristan Thompson. The Philadelphia 76ers stood pat as they attempt to make a play for James Harden, who added Philadelphia as a "preferred destination" to his trade list. The Toronto Raptors made it their top priority to hold onto Fred VanVleet, and by doing so also locked up OG Anunoby and other key pieces for a long time. Plus, the New York Knicks have continued their long-time rebuild by adding one of the draft's best big men in Obi Toppin and are well on their way to competing for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. With all of the changes throughout the Atlantic Division, one thing is for sure, the NBA has a new most competitive division as we embark on the shortened 2021 NBA Season. #BostonCeltics #BrooklynNets #NBA2021Predictions Socials: Website: https://trashtalksportsmedia.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TrashTalk_Media Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TrashTalkSportsMedia Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trashtalk_sports_/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@trashtalksports_
The Cleveland Browns absolutely destroyed the Tennessee Titans in their Week 13 matchup. This result begs the question, are they the number one contender to challenge the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship? Based on their current record, Nick makes the argument that it should be thought that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the top competition for the Chiefs in the AFC. However, with the Steelers continuing to play terribly against top, or even relevant competition throughout the NFL, Mike makes the argument that the Cleveland Browns have the necessary stopping power to take down the juggernaut Chiefs team.
