The Atlantic Division in the NBA may actually be the most dominating and fun to watch divisions throughout the sport of basketball. The Brooklyn Nets, with the addition of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant finally taking the court, have a chance to play upset maker in the Eastern Conference as they looked like the most dominant team in the entire league. While the loss of Spencer Dinwiddie will be hard to overcome, the Nets may be one of the deepest and most talented teams we have seen in a long time. The Boston Celtics made a few upgrades in the offseason to address a lack of depth and athleticism in the front-court, in the form of Jeff Teague and Tristan Thompson. The Philadelphia 76ers stood pat as they attempt to make a play for James Harden, who added Philadelphia as a "preferred destination" to his trade list. The Toronto Raptors made it their top priority to hold onto Fred VanVleet, and by doing so also locked up OG Anunoby and other key pieces for a long time. Plus, the New York Knicks have continued their long-time rebuild by adding one of the draft's best big men in Obi Toppin and are well on their way to competing for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
