At the 2018 World Short Course Championships, she set a world record in the 400m freestyle and became world champion in the 200m. In 2019, she defeated Katie Ledecky at the World Championships in Gwangju and won gold in the 400 m and the 4 x 200 m freestyle relay.🇦🇺 At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she won gold in the 400m freestyle with a best time of 3:56.69 minutes and set an Olympic record in the 200m. In 2022, she broke the world record in the 400 m freestyle with a time of 3:56.40 minutes.
