11/22/14: Appalichian State vs vs UL Lafayette Highlights

Marcus Cox rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns to lead Appalachian State over Louisiana-Lafayette 35-16 on Saturday. Appalachian State (6-5, 5-2 Sun Belt) raced out to a 14-3 first quarter lead on an 8-yard run by Cox and Bobo Beathard's 33-yard punt return for a touchdown.

11/8/14: UL Monroe vs Appalachian State Highlights

Bentlee Critcher kicked a 39-yard field goal with 29 seconds remaining to give Appalachian State a 31-29 victory over UL Monroe on Saturday night in the programs' first meeting. Two pass-interference calls on the Mountaineers' 53-yard drive helped set up the winning kick by Critcher. The punter took over as place-kicker midseason against Liberty, missing a would-be game-winner on his first attempt in the loss.
