Bournemouth put in a turgid shift on Saturday lunchtime in front of the nation as Southampton were the visitors at Dean Court in a hotly anticipated FA Cup Quarter Final clash. With both teams having the chance to reach Wembley Stadium, it was expected that Cherries would come out all-guns blazing, however, apart from a brief three minute spell - the home side were on the whole, poor and lacklustre - giving the side a win, which whilst gifted, was well deserved. What a season we're having. Jason Tindall departed the club in the week after a poor run of results for the Cherries. Whilst we had games that some Cherries fans could attend, the majority of us will be returning to a vastly different club - no Eddie, no Jason. It's sad we haven't had the chance to say goodbye to some incredible servants. Despite the risk not working, Jason is still one of them - thank you JT. So it was Jonathan Woodgate that stood in for our home clash against the Blues on the following Saturday. To his credit, he obviously needed to come in and pick up players who have been mentally at a low and players who haven’t had the confidence to express themselves on the football pitch for some time.
