It was beautiful while it lasted, but with that loss to Napoli Milan definitely is out of the title race. Thanks to Roma losing to Parma though, Top 4 is still a very real possibility. Coppa Derby Heat, Atalanta-Lazio Double and Some Love for Fonseca
Boy this was a full week with the biggest story probably coming in the Coppa Italia Derby thanks to the huge Ibra-Lukaku flare-up. Regarding on-pitch performances, the two Atalanta-Lazio games probably provided the most entertainment. There were a few other interesting games as well, but given the heat he was under, I have to praise Paulo Fonseca and the great job he is doing at Roma! Convincing but Bittersweet Win for LASK, a Night to Forget for Milan
Mixed evening for me! LASK had a wonderful performance in Antwerp and never really was in danger. But one of our strikers suffered a severe knee injury. :( And then Milan lost for the first time since early March. Elsewhere, Benfica and Rangers play out a mad 3-3 draw, Roma was cruising and Napoli made hard work out of a win in Rijeka. Leipzig Dominates Augsburg to Stay Top
Pretty much all went as expected in the Bundesliga. Leipzig, Bayern and Dortmund win their games and are now all top of the table with Leipzig staying top. LASK Dominant Over Sporting, Milan Barely Escapes Rio Ave
What a performance by LASK!!! They build on their performance from last season and improve in terms of scoring. I have never been prouder of my team!
