WHAT LEBRON JAMES EATS: https://youtu.be/T9ltXsHE7tU WHAT STEPH CURRY EATS: https://youtu.be/oV-v--SEXwE WHAT DWIGHT HOWARD EATS: https://youtu.be/yjbm__TO5pY Vegan NBA players were all the rage back in 2017. The trend seemed to be sweeping the league with some of the most prominent players taking up either a vegan or plant-based diet. First players like Wilson Chandler jumped in then people became interested in Kyrie Irving diet, Chris Paul diet, Damian Lillard diet, DeAndre Jordan diet, Javale Mcgee diet and more. The fad has died down since then and in this video we look at the rise and fall of the NBA vegan. Wilson Chandler was one of the first active NBA players to announce he was ditching meat. Before him, retired NBA player John Salley was not only vegan but loudly and proudly so. He is an advocate for vegan lifestyle as well as cannabis use. Soon bigger names got on board like Kyrie Irving and more recently Chris Paul. It goes against conventional wisdom that a professional athlete can follow a plant-based diet and still get all the fuel their bodies need but these guys have proven it. Some went back on a meat eating diet after they couldn't manage the protein and iron intake but others navigate the lifestyle successfully. The interest in veganism spiked after a documentary called "What The Health?" came out in 2017 on Netflix. NBA player Jahlil Okhafor claimed the film had a big influence on him. In this video I share my skepticism about that documentary but praise athletes who chose to change their lifestyle. SAY "HI" ON IG!! https://www.instagram.com/a.m.hoops HIT ME UP ON TWITTER!! https://twitter.com/CaseyKeirnan Russell Westbrook shooting threes may be a thing of the past...kind of. The former MVP is now on the Rockets and his game has evolved into shooting the fewest threes of his career and his game is better for it. Westbrook is trying to lead the Rockets to a top 4 seed and he is changing the way he plays basketball in the process. In this video we explore what Russ has done to evolve his game and what it means to the playoffs. Historically Westbrook has been an inefficient shooter but it's only gotten worse the past few years. By the time he got to Houston Russ was a career 30% shooter from downtown. He was back to his old ways the first 25 games of the season but slowly started to evolve. Now Russell Westbrook and James Harden are unleashing their best offense on a nightly basis and are an efficient offense too. The Rockets front office went all in on the Westbrook-version of their franchise when they traded Clint Capela to the Hawks and got Robert Covington in return. That move unclogs the paint and allows Westbrook to drive and kick or finish as he sees fit. The Rockets have traded away most of their valuable future draft assets and will are living for this season more than almost any team in the league. Let me know in the comments if you think the Rockets have even an outside shot at winning a title or if this will be a continuation of the failure we've seen in H-Town for years. IG: https://www.instagram.com/a.m.hoops Twitter: https://twitter.com/CaseyKeirnan Clippers locker room problems have been caused by Montrezl Harrell comments. Clippers drama, Clippers chemistry and Clippers locker room chemistry issues are real right now and the split because of Kawhi Leonard injury management could fracture the locker room. Clippers preferential treatment is the cause of the friction according to a new report. In this video we break down how it all happened and what the options are to fix it. Kawhi Leonard has been injured for the better part of 2 years now and the management of that injury has caused drama on every team he's been on. Kawhi left the Spurs over a disagreement, winning a title in Toronto covered up some of their issues and now in LA - some of his Clippers teammates have a problem with Kawhi sitting out so many games. The star treatment is extended to Paul George as well but his injury is more recent. PG had double shoulder surgery in the offseason. In all - the Clippers have been without at least one of their superstars for 66% of the games they have played. The all-in mentality of some on the Clippers roster is fueling reports of unrest. Will the friction cause locker room problems that derail an NBA Championship run? We shall see. Kevin Durant attitude change is something we’ve all seen since he entered the NBA. KD was once a quiet, humble player on the Thunder but has turned into an angry star at times. KD vs. Kendrick Perkins is the latest Twitter beef but there have been many others. In this video we explore why KD’s attitude has changed over the years. Kevin Durant was drafted 2nd overall in 2007 by the Seattle Super Sonics. He was known as a kind and thoughtful player as a rookie and at the University of Texas especially considering his immense talent. The media loved Kevin Durant. KD was often portrayed as the opposite of LeBron James despite their similarities on and off the court. Durant’s love affair with the media began to die when the Thunder didn’t live up to championship expectations. OKC lost to the Miami Heat in the Finals. Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James Round I went to the King. Headlines soon after called KD “Mr. Unreliable.” Things really started to fall apart when Durant left for Golden State. Criticising Durant was almost accepted from that point on. KD’s distrust of the media grew and eventually exploded during a press conference in Oakland. Durant’s change in personality is actually a change in his relationship with the media. Let me know in the comments if you agree or disagree.
