Among the more elaborate productions from the decade, printed upon actual glass material and producing a look and feel entirely unique to the era. Flawlessly preserved in most respects with a stunning autograph struck in blue sharpie to boot. One of only three to have earned the illustrious assessment out of 110 Beckett submissions. 1998 Ultra Platinum Medallion Michael Jordan /99 #85P PSA 10 GEM MINT
Presented here in glorious GEM MINT PSA 10 is one of Michael Jordan's most popular '90s parallels, the '98 Ultra Platinum Medallion. This production is notoriously condition sensitive and rare to boot with just 99 copies created. Due to these factors, only five have managed the illustrious assessment throughout PSA's long history. PWCC's 360 degree imaging will confirm that the offered 79 of 99 example boasts flawless preservation throughout. The fragile reverse corner tips are free of touches and the delicate periphery is absent of chipping. Dead centered with immaculate surfaces, void of commonplace chipping and indents. The photograph used for this card features 'His Airness' wearing his Retro Air Jordan 1s in his final appearance in a Bulls jersey at "The World's Most Famous Arena", Madison Square Garden. In this game, Jordan put on an all-time performance against the Knicks, pouring in 42 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block, leading the Bulls to a 102-89 road win. 1999 Upper Deck Master Collection Performances Michael Jordan AUTO /50 BGS 9.5
In 1999, Upper Deck released a hobby dealers exclusive 26-card MJ Master set which included a 23-card base set, along with an autographed card, jersey relic card and a mystery pack. Offered here is one of the exceptionally rare autograph examples, bearing a hand struck serial 11/50 and being assessed as GEM MINT by Beckett. Shows a tremendous action photo of the all-time great, bordered by a bright red foil inlay which really speaks to the card’s overall aesthetic. All eight corners are GEM MINT with crisp edges and fabulous registration. Rare Michael Jordan autograph cards continue to lead investment minded growth with demand outweighing supply. An all-around exciting MJ piece, deserving of serious attention.
2005 SP Authentic Sign of the Times Michael Jordan LeBron James AUTO /50 BGS 9.5
As two of the best basketball players the world has ever seen, it's hard for a hobbyists to have a discussion about one and not include the other. In the eyes of most, Michael Jordan is the greatest of all-time with LeBron nipping at his heels. As both share the same jersey number and are Upper Deck exclusive, no shortage of dual autograph issues exist between these two, however it's undeniable that the 2005-06 SP Authentic Sign of the Times Dual ranks among the best. Limited to only fifty copies created with on-card autographs and beautiful portrait images of the global icons. The offered specimen is serial stamped 49/50 and is one of only eight to have earned the illustrious assessment. Both on-card autographs are wonderfully penned in blue-sharpie and fully live up to the lofty pristine assessment. The card itself is pack fresh with '9.5' centering, '9' corners, '9.5' edges and '9.5' surfaces. Tip to tip, this is an absolute masterpiece which also represents a tremendous investment opportunity.
