1984-85 Star Basketball Michael Jordan ROOKIE RC #101 BGS 8 NM-MT
One of the most important rookie cards in existence and incredibly desirable within a Beckett 8 holder. This true '84-85 Star #101 Michael Jordan rookie card is particularly special as it boasts strong sub-grades with three higher than the overall technical assessment. The edges are GEM MINT with zero chipping present (rare). The corners are pin-point sharp and the surfaces are strong for the sub-grade assigned with eye-popping color and superb registration. A typical centering shift is present however the overall framing is better than what is typical seen for the issue. 2002 Topps Chrome White Refractor Kobe Bryant /249 #21 PSA 10 GEM MINT
In 1996, Topps introduced its inaugural chromium production which paralleled the arrival of the legendary Kobe Bryant. After just a few short years, both brands emerged to become some of the brightest in the business with Kobe's early Topps Chrome examples becoming some of our markets most cherished mainstream blue chips. In 2002, Topps Chrome introduced a new refractor parallel to accompany its previous parallels, in that of the White Refractor. Shortly printed and sequentially numbered to 249. Offered here is Kobe's #21 Topps Chrome White Refractor parallel which features the black mamba in a fantastic action photo of him going up against three defenders as he aggressively attacks the hoop. Serial stamped 178/249, this card screams elegance, boasting a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing white borders which really light up the card’s refractor color. Aside from its overall beauty, the card is notoriously problematic to boot, commonly plagued by centering shifts and periphery wear to the fragile reverse. 2003 Exquisite Collection Michael Jordan PATCH AUTO 035/100 #MJ BGS 9.5 GEM MINT
Throughout the history of our market, only handful of products have risen above to completely transcend the trading card marketplace. Much like the '97 PMG production, inaugural '03 Exquisite set the bar for what would become the future of modern-era premium trading cards. To this day, many collectors and investors alike feel '03 Exquisite did it better than any issue since, and the production quality presented by the Exquisite brand set a bar few manufacturers could justify or even afford. Held within this 1st year Exquisite set was Michael Jordan's Autograph Patch card, representing a fine-art equivalent piece and one of the finest modern basketball cards produced during 2003.
