Each Week During The Season I Go Back And Present Giants Highlights From The Past Against Opponents For That Individual Weeks Game. Week 6, VS the Washington Redskins. We go back to 1990 season, where the REDSKINS traveled to Giants Stadium. First quarter, Redskins quarterback Stan Humphries is sacked by Leonard Marshall. 2nd Quarter, Phil Simms connects with Stephen Baker for a 4 yard touchdown pass and a 7-0 Giants lead. Next series, Humphries is intercepted by Everson Walls. That led to a Phil Simms to Mark Bavaro 13 yard touchdown pass and a 14-0 lead. Later in the 2nd, Humphries is sacked by Greg Jackson. The ensuing Giants drive they try a fake field goal where Lawrence Taylor is grossly interfered with (NON CALL).In the 4th quarter, with the Giants leading 14-10 and the Redskins driving for the lead. Greg Jackson intercepts a deflected Humphries pass. Late 4th, Humphries is intercepted by Everson Walls who returns it 29 yards to seal the Victory for the Giants. Final, Giants win 21-10 and improve to 7-0.
