Women's World Cup: Jhulan Goswami creates world record even after India's loss against England

Jhulan Goswami was already ahead in the list, with 2nd placed bowler, Australia's Cathryn Fitzpatrick way behind at 180. This achievement comes just three days after the Indian seamer's feat of becoming the all-time highest wicket-taker in the history of the Women's World Cup, after surpassing Australia's Lynn Fullston. The ongoing edition of the World Cup is the player's 5th, with Goswami having made her debut in the tournament in 2005. Natalie Sciver, Amy Jones also departed after India's Meghna Singh removed England opener Danielle Wyatt for 1 run while Jhulan Goswami also dismissed Tammy Beaumont as England faltered early-on in the run-chase of 135 runs. Batting first, India were bundled out for 134 run in 36.2 overs as England bowlers rose to the occasion brilliantly in a important tie for them in the ongoing Women's World Cup at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
