Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has issued a warning to all his charges as the club looks set for wholesale changes at the end of the season. Chiefs have several players in the final few months of their contracts and, following the departure of Siphelele Ntshangase, the axe is expected to fall on a couple more come May/June. Senior players such as Bernard Parker, Willard Katsande, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Lebogang Manyama will all see their deals run up at the end of this season and it's understood that the club has pushed back negotiations for now. Scroll through the gallery above to view all the Chiefs players whose contracts will run up in June 2021 With Amakhosi having endured a turbulent season, it is uncertain whether these and other stars have done enough to earn the faith of Hunt and will remain at the club beyond 2021. While such uncertainty often breads dissatisfaction among players, the four-time league winning tactician has warned against dropping their efforts and "cheating the game." "If you're a professional footballer, I always say to players, 'You play in the shop window, you should be training and playing everyday like somebody's watching you,'" Hunt told the media. "If you do that, football gods will take care of you. So, that's the way I work – everyday is a trial, everyday we need to be better than the day before and then things will take care of itself.

Late Amartey strike lifts Leicester up to second Daniel Amartey's header with three minutes to go clinches dramatic win for Foxes Daniel Amartey scored three minutes from time to earn Leicester City a 2-1 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion that takes them up to second place in the Premier League. Adam Lallana gave the Seagulls a 10th-minute lead, latching on to Neal Maupay's through-ball and slotting low for his first Brighton goal. Sidnei Tavares was denied a long-range goal on his first Leicester start by a fine Robert Sanchez save before Lallana hit the post with a header shortly before the break. Kelechi Iheanacho found the side-netting early in the second half before drawing Leicester level with a chipped finish from a pinpoint Youri Tielemans pass on 62 minutes. Schmeichel saved low from Lallana before Amartey struck the winner. Sanchez flapped at Marc Albrighton's corner to allow a stooping Amartey to head into the net and extend Leicester's unbeaten league away run to 10 matches. The Foxes now have 53 points, two more than third-placed Manchester United who visit leaders Manchester City on Sunday. A third straight defeat leaves Brighton in 16th, three points above the relegation zone Bizarre Wood goal earns Burnley draw with Arsenal A bizarre goal from Chris Wood gave Burnley a draw with Arsenal that took them seven points clear of the relegation zone. Arsenal took the lead in the sixth minute. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cut into the area and beat Nick Pope at his near post. Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka had chances to double the lead but each poked the ball wide. They were made to pay in the 39th minute when Granit Xhaka's attempted pass in his own area hit Wood and went in. A quiet second half came to life after 77 minutes. Erik Pieters' fabulous 30-yard volley was tipped over by Bernd Leno, who denied Wood with his legs shortly after. Pieters was shown a red card and Arsenal awarded a penalty as referee Andre Marriner deemed he had blocked Nicolas Pepe's shot on the line with his arm. But the decision was overturned after VAR had found it was not handball. Arsenal almost snatched a win in stoppage time as Ben Mee blocked Aubameyang's shot before Dani Ceballos's strike hit a post. A fifth home draw in a row keeps Burnley 15th on 30 points. Arsenal stay 10th on 38 points. Palace and Man Utd battle to goalless draw Manchester United extended their club-record unbeaten away run to 21 Premier League matches as they earned a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace. Man Utd controlled the early proceedings, and a deflected strike from 25 yards out by Nemanja Matic was superbly tipped around the post by Vicente Guaita. The visitors passed up two further chances in the first half, as Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood both fired wide. Palace responded after the break with Andros Townsend's volley off target, while Greenwood shot just over from distance. The home side could have won it in the 90th minute, but Patrick van Aanholt's close-range effort was saved by Dean Henderson, starting in the absence of David De Gea. Palace stay 13th on 34 points, while Man Utd are second on 51 points, 14 behind leaders Manchester City. Iheanacho volley earns Leicester point at Burnley A stunning volley from Kelechi Iheanacho earned Leicester City a 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor. Matej Vydra had given Burnley a fourth-minute lead when he pounced on a mistake by Hamza Choudhury to score his first Premier League goal since February 2020. But Leicester were back on level terms in the 34th minute through Iheanacho's sublime first-time volley from Wilfred Ndidi’s pass over the top. Sean Dyche's men almost restored their advantage shortly after half-time, but Chris Wood's header was brilliantly saved by Kasper Schmeichel. Bale's sumptuous long pass picked out Harry Kane, who doubled the home side's lead on 14 minutes. Lucas Moura added a third just past the half-hour with a low shot from Sergio Reguilon's cross. And Bale sealed the win with his second strike in the 55th minute, curling in after another assist from Son. Liverpool end losing run to close in on top four Reds win for first time in five matches to go a point behind next opponents Chelsea Liverpool ended their four-match losing run and moved to within two points of the top four with a 2-0 win at Sheffield United. The heroics of Sheff Utd goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had frustrated Liverpool as he made five first-half saves, including two in as many minutes to deny Mohamed Salah and Georginio Wijnaldum. Liverpool eventually found a way past Ramsdale on 48 minutes when Phil Jagielka's clearance from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross fell invitingly for Jones to stroke in just his second Premier League goal. Oliver McBurnie then passed up a great chance to equalise, heading Oliver Norwood’s cross wide, before Liverpool made their hosts pay. Roberto Firmino danced through the Sheff Utd defence and hit a shot that deflected in off Kean Bryan for an own goal. The win could have been greater had Salah not missed an open goal from a tight angle late on. Liverpool move a point behind fifth-placed Chelsea, their next opponents, while Sheff Utd stay bottom, 15 points from safety. Dias and Stones strike for City's 14th straight league win Manchester City centre-backs Ruben Dias and John Stones each scored as Pep Guardiola's team beat West Ham United 2-1 to extend their run of league wins to 14. The hosts enjoyed the early possession at the Etihad Stadium and took the lead on the half-hour with their first shot on target, Dias heading in Kevin De Bruyne's pinpoint cross for his first City goal. Having hit a post three minutes earlier, Michail Antonio drew West Ham level with two first-half minutes remaining. The forward turned in Jesse Lingard's shot from close range to end 587 minutes of City not conceding a home league goal. Stones restored City's lead midway through the second half, finishing well after skilful work from Riyad Mahrez on the right. Issa Diop headed a chance for West Ham wide in stoppage time as City's 20th straight win in all competitions sent the leaders 13 points clear of Manchester United, who visit Chelsea tomorrow. Early El Ghazi strike earns Aston Villa win An early goal from Anwar El Ghazi was enough for Aston Villa to earn a 1-0 win at Leeds United. El Ghazi collected a mishit shot from Ollie Watkins in the fifth minute before firing beneath Illan Meslier from close range for the only goal at Elland Road. Emiliano Martinez in the Villa goal made a superb stop to deny Tyler Roberts a first-half equaliser, while El Ghazi was twice kept out by brilliant Meslier saves. Villa came close to a second on 67 minutes, but Tyrone Mings' header deflected off Liam Cooper and went narrowly over. At the other end, Raphinha had a great chance for a last-minute equaliser but headed wide. A first victory in three matches keeps Villa eighth on 36 points, one behind the top four with two matches in hand.
