Pensacola Ice Flyers 5th Anniversary Weekend.
January 17th & 18th Pensacola Ice Flyers celebrated their 5th Anniversary of joining the SPHL. Friday they beat the Mississippi Surge 6-1 in front of 6,162 fans. Saturday night in front of a SELLOUT crowd of 8,046, the Ice Flyers unfortunately lost 5-3 against the Huntsville Havoc. SPHL 2014

For the first time in Pensacola's 17 year history of having a hockey team, the Pensacola Ice Flyers won the SPHL President's Cup trophy Sunday, April 14, 2013 in front of 4,693 fans. The Ice Flyers won Game 1 2-1 in overtime, lost in Huntsville 2-1 during Game 2, and earned a 2-0 shutout in Game 3. Considering it was Coach Gary Graham's first championship win as a head coach and he dealt with most of the top players being called up in the middle of the season, winning the cup was quite rewarding for him, the fans, the players, and the city. Pensacola Ice Flyers advance to 2012 SPHL Finals
On April 7, 2012 the Pensacola Ice Flyers shutout the Knoxville Ice Bears 1-0 to advance to the 2012 SPHL finals. Pensacola won Game 1 4-1 in Knoxville on April 5th. The 2012 Playoff Championship will be between The Pensacola Ice Flyers and the Columbus Cottonmouths. This is the first time a Pensacola hockey team has reached the finals since 1998.
