Speed Trial in Indian Railways! Twin WAP-5 Mumbai-Delhi Third Rajdhani Special blasting at 135kmph!

Location: Faridabad New Town, North Railways, Haryana Camera:Canon Powershot SX60HS Date and Time: 03 ‎October ‎2017, 04:53AM Twin Ghaziabad WAP-5 hauled Mumbai-Delhi Third Rajdhani Express trial rips past Faridabad New Town railway station, overtaking TKD WAP-7 hauled 22181 Jabalpur - Hazrat Nizamuddin SF Express at 135 kmph+ speed during the early morning hours rushing towards Delhi after successfully completing the trial in 13 hours. Locos in change are 30117 and 30125, WAP-5's based at Ghaziabad ELS. The railways is planning to introduce a brand new and faster Rajdhani Express on the Mumbai-Delhi line, the third Rajdhani train on the route, in the next few months, senior officials said today. The new train, likely to be launched by the Diwali this year, will cover the distance between Bandra (in Mumbai) to Nizamuddin station (in Delhi) in 13 hours, officials said. Presently, the route is served by two Rajdhani Express trains-- the 12953/54 August Kranti Rajdhani and the 12951/52 Mumbai Rajdhani Express. Enjoy and Peace!
