Ben Gibbon reflects on taking his maiden First Class wicket after day one against Durham

Ben Gibbon made his Worcestershire debut on Thursday, as he lined up in cap #527, to take on Durham. The left arm fast bowler picked up the wicket of Keegan Petersen in the second session of the day and managed to go at less than three an over throughout his day's work. HIGHLIGHTS: Leicestershire v Worcestershire - Day One

Brett D'Oliveira and Ed Barnard fought back in the evening session of the first day against Leicestershire to close at 118/4. After rain interrupted the first two sessions of the day play finally got underway with Worcestershire opting to bat first. Daryl Mitchell bids farewell as he takes part in his final game for the club having made his debut all the way back in 2005. Along the way Mitchell has secured several promotions, won the Nat West Pro40 League and the Vitality Blast in 2018. However, this week will be his final game as he retires from professional cricket.
