Sliema Wanderers bounced back from a goal down to beat Lijan athletic comfortably 4-1. Three points that also aided with other results elsewhere going their way, saw side led by coach Andrea Pisanu move back to the top in this absorbing season for the boys in blue striving for success this season after some tough years just over that however served also to steady the ship in financial situation not really comfortable for the club. Lija Athletic are finding it hard, they endured an encouraging start to this campaign but going is starting to get tough albeit still a very long season ahead and fortunes could change.
29.11.2020 - TARXIEN RAINBOWS (3-1) VALLETTA #MatchHighlight
A shock defeat for Valletta succumbing to an unexpected 3-1 defeat against Tarxien Rainbows. A result that also meant the end for Valletta coaxh Jesmond Zerafa who after the match offered his resignation that was accepred by the Valletta officials. For Tarxien a vast improvement from their dire performances last season, still a long way but coach Winston Muscat is surely doing a fine job and will give all teams a good run for their money as Rainbows pursue Premier League survival at the end of this campaign.

An unexpected win for Sirens beating Hibernians 2-1, rounding off a very positive week, a result on Saturday that followed their commendable midweek 1-1 draw with Valletta. Side led by coach Steve D'Amato reaped superbly their counter attack strategy catching the Hibernians rear guard and scoring two important goals before a fine header by the Lithuanian international forward late on was just a consolation for the Paolites in this game.
29.11.2020 - ĦAMRUN SPARTANS (4-0) ŻEJTUN CORINTHIANS #MatchHighlight
A resounding 4-0 win for Ħamrun Spartans over Żejtun Corinthians leaving side led by coach Mark Buttigieg in a strong position near the top of the table, just one point adrift from leaders Sliema W., also bouncing back from the 2-2 draw with Hibernians in their previous encounter. For Żejtun an unwanted slip that will surely see the side led superbly by coach Orosco Anonam learn from the mistakes in these 90 minutes and bounce back strongly to proceed with their positive season in this first experience for Corinthians in the top flight for many years.

A goal each in this dull contest, for Balzan their fourth draw in their last five outings, clearly some pressure on the team and coach Mark Miller, winless in their last five League outings. Senglea are still rock bottom, nonethless take the positives from this result ending a dismal run of six defeats on the bounce.

A goal in each half for Mosta stunned the Champions who endured better moments of possession with clear cut chances over the 90 minutes, however keeper Christoffer Henri Mafoumbi was in his best form to deny the Greens with countless saves as Mosta dig deep to chalk up these precious three points from this contest.
