Not less for Żejtun Corinthians their targets are clearly different, but in Orosco Anonam they found a coach who loves to play offensive and direct football, Żejtun have the individuals to perform, and will surely work harder to make their prime target easier this season, thus ending in a commendable league position, more importantly avoiding relegation. 05.12.2020 - SANTA LUCIA (0-3) HIBERNIANS #MatchHighlight

Lithuanian international forward Karolis Laukzemis was the star player for Hibernians chalking up a 3-0 win result over neighbours Santa Lucia. There was only one outcome to this game for Hibernians their task clearly eased with the sending off to Jamie Zerafa, however Paolites impressed and firmly bounced back in a strong manner following their awful performance in a 2-1 defeat to Sirens a week before.

06.12.2020 - SENGLEA ATHLETIC (1-2) BIRKIRKARA #MatchHighlight

The end of a terrific week for Birkirkara winning three in three on Sunday night beating bottom side Senglea Athletic 2-1. Yannick Yankam was the star player for the Stripes in a game marred towards the end with an ugly and denouncing incident between Andre Scicluna and Paul Mbong seeing both Maltese players sent for an early bath by referee Fyodor Zammit.

05.12.2020 - MOSTA (1-0) TARXIEN RAINBOWS #MatchHighlight

A Bojan Kaljevic penalty was enough for Mosta to resume their positive run narrowly bearing Tarxien Rainbows 1-0. Three more points for Mosta as they are clearly showing improvement from previous seasons, in the top half of the table, also playing superbly and with confidence. Tarxien were rather inaccurate and clumsy in the final third particularly in the final third of the match, they owned most of the possession in the second half but were unable to break the stubborn Mosta defence led impressively by experienced Tyrone Farrugia and keeper Christoffer Henri Mafoumbi with yet another clean sheet for the latter under his belt.

LIJA ATHLETIC (2-2) ĦAMRUN SPARTANS - 04.12.2020 - #MatchHighlight

An unexpected 2-2 draw between Lija Athletic and Ħamrun Spartans, two dropped points for the black and red army in their pursue for honours and top placing this campaign. Lija on the other hand over these 90 minutes on Friday night have relied once again on the talented, skilful and prolific Erjon Beu netting another brace, surging his total season tally of goals so far to seven, and a huge sigh of relief for side led by coach Joseph Galea in their chase to rise up from the dire position they currently occupy in the league standings.

GUDJA UTD (3-2) BALZAN - 04.12.2020 - #MatchHighlight

Brazilian Yuri Messias was the star player for Gudja United in their 3-2 win over Balzan. Gudja therefore bouncing back strongly from their poor performance in a 3-0 defeat the previous week against Birkirkara, also resuming their terrific season, also cementing their standings' position towards the top. Balzan on the other hand are suddenly finding proceedings really tough, winless in their last six league outings.

06.12.2020 - VALLETTA (0-3) FLORIANA #MatchHighlight

A truly deserved victory for the Champions dispatching their arch-rivals Valletta in a 3-0 score-line. Greens dominant enjoying most possession throughout the 90, breaking the deadlock midway through the first half after a solo run by Kristian Keqi, the latter also rounding off his fine performance with his brace rounding off proceedings for the Greens scoring the third goal, in between Ulises Arias also finding the back of the net as Floriana bounce back from their recent poor run, whereas the miserable period for Valletta continues, only one win in their last six League outings for the Lilywhites.
