Where do I start? Both teams have been dire in recent outings. Derby Day and well I wasn’t confident after the last derby - we just didn’t show up for that. I don’t know why I was concerned beforehand, we turned up to this party and provided the entertainment. Great result and we actually played as a team and looked like we wanted it. Stevenage 3 v Scunthorpe 1 Happy New Year
After a good and unexpected result in many eyes against Walsall through the week. We turned our attention to a team below us in the table. Once again we looked devoid of ideas. We seem to put pressure on ourselves, when playing the teams close to us. Walsall game, no pressure and we produce a promising performance and result. This game, pressure and even though we got the early goal, we just folded. Well played Stevenage, in the second half I switched off. Only so much you can take!!
Scunthorpe 2 v Mansfield 3
Another dejected me, wittering on after watching the mighty Scunthorpe United haha We lose again in what a few weeks ago would have been classed as a winnable game. Too many individuals playing and not a team. The more it goes on the more people are going to switch off. Watching from home, you have so many other options. Those options are starting to look better.
Scunthorpe 0 V Bolton 1
Two wins and a draw playing 442. Bolton come along and we revert to 343. We can’t play 343 as we’ve seen before, we don’t look comfortable and it’s not playing to our strengths so why change it. Fair play to Bolton though, they played there game and dominated us. Deserved the 3pts in the end

Strange one this sat at home, watching on a laptop. Missing the crowds, atmosphere (we did have one didn’t we 😂😂) just the general build up to Match Day. So things are a little different now, see how they go.
