6-09-1987. Ten year anniv of my upload of this NOW upgraded game recap with Chick Hearn's radio broadcast over it (also 32nd anniv of the game itself). Every Laker fan, PLEASE take 20 mins and watch this, it is mandatory franchise history and it's a game that actually lived up to the incredible hype surrounding these two teams. Win or loss, they almost always lived up to the hype. I wasn't the one who made this game, that was a guy who went by kjbleu, but I was able to get it to look and sound this good. It was full of problems, I assure you. This is a huge upgrade. I wanted to do this as I drew nearer to the July 2009 upload of my prior vid(s), which were split in two and had no audio or video filtering. I will eventually delete them. I did this in honor of Chick, Magic, and ALL YOU FANS (that mean's you) who appreciate this era of hoops. No matter your team, we're all part of the same clan.
12-29-1996. Early game, a tiny cameo appearance by Kobe, but remember these weren't even baby steps for Kobe yet, so don't be thinkin that I'm overhyping his presence here. He was still in a swaddling blanket, Del Harris was old school even before old school. Shaq with a monstrous blocked shot. When you see that, remember, I've seen a lot of Forum games and I've NEVER before or since seen a player block a shot that went into that area of the crowd at The Forum and I mean at a straight trajectory, not no wet noodle thing that doesn't compare. Even Shaq didn't even do that more than once in 3 years there. The likes of Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal will never be seen again in the NBA. He was the TRex in Jurassic Park 1. Btw, this was Travis Knight's finest NBA game. He owes me for puttin it online. What was weird about Trav is that he was pretty good as a rookie and then Boston signed him to some silly big contract thinking they stole a gem from us. Then the Lakers got him back in 99 and he was never as good as he was as a rookie.
