107th Grey Cup Preview - Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Here we are at the end of the road to the 107th Grey Cup in Calgary and if the Calgary Stampeders weren't going to be in it. This is my consolation match-up. Looking forward at seeing this match-up when I give my preview as these are the two franchises that have the longest Grey Cup droughts in the CFL. Somebody is going to have to win it, right? The Eastern Final pretty much went as expected with the heavily favourited Hamilton Tiger-Cats taking care of the Edmonton Eskimos ending their attempt at being the first crossover team to make it to the Grey Cup. Western Final was a different story as that game was a closer match-up with heated rivals in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers going on the road to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Winnipeg was able to stop Saskatchewan in the red zone and score at critical times to edge out Saskatchewan and continue their magical run to the Grey Cup. This sets up an epic match-up on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 for the 107th Grey Cup in Calgary at McMahon Stadium to see which team and fan base gets to end their lengthy drought. Hamilton is looking for their first championship since 1999 while Winnipeg is looking for their first championship since 1990. Both teams have been to a Grey Cup since their last championship but have suffered some tough defeats in the process. In addition to breaking down the match-up and see who has the edge in the game. I go over the history of playoff games between the two teams and give my feelings at the end on what a win will mean for each city and fan base. Looking forward at seeing this unfold as this is the ninth time that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats will play for the Grey Cup but it's the first time they've met in the championship game since 1984. My playoff history will also go over divisional match-ups as both teams we're in the same division but this is the first time that these teams will meet in the playoffs since 2011. 2019 CFL Playoffs Western Final Preview - Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Saskatchewan Roughriders
After quashing the dream of playing in the Grey Cup at home for the Calgary Stampeders. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers took the Western Semi-Final with a convincing 35-14 win on the road against the Calgary Stampeders who we're the defending Grey Cup champions looking to repeat and win it at home. However the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the second straight season will be off to Regina to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders but this time in the Western Final for a birth in the 107th Grey Cup in Calgary. Like with my previous videos I break down the match-ups and see who has the edge in each facet of the game and ultimately make my pick on who I think will win the game and represent the west at the 107th Grey Cup in Calgary. I feel with how each team stacks up plus the natural prairie rivalry these teams have. I'm anticipating a close one if everything plays out to it's full potential. 2019 CFL Playoffs Eastern Final Preview - Edmonton Eskimos @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats
After pulling off the minor upset against the Montreal Alouettes with a 37-29 win in the Eastern Semi-Final. The Edmonton Eskimos are off to Hamilton to take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Eastern Final. I once again preview the game and match-up ahead to see if the Edmonton Eskimos have a chance to defeat the heavily favoured Hamilton Tiger-Cats to be the first CFL crossover team to reach the Grey Cup. The records could show this being a mismatch but during the regular season the first game was a close one which could give some home for Edmonton. Hamilton hasn't faced Trevor Harris during the regular season and Hamilton has been riding the arm of Dane Evans after the injury of Jeremiah Masoli which makes things interesting. Calgary Stampeders 2019 Western Semi-Final Opening Video & Defensive Player Introductions
Capturing the pre-game video and defensive players Introductions ahead of the Western Semi-Final game. Calgary Stampeders took on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and unfortunately the dream season is done after this game. Video had extra special motivation on the goal at hand the Imagine Dragons Whatever It Takes. Calgary Stampeders first was led by Kamar Jorden who was playing in his first game from injury since the 2018 Labour Day Classic. Also after the player introductions. I've captured the Remembrance Day moments with The Last Post and national anthem. Heard there was going to be jets like on Labour Day but wasn't which is why I've captured more of it. My Calgary Stampeders This Month - November 2019 (S02E07)
Final episode for the 2019 CFL Regular Season in season two still had some playoff implications for the West Division that literally came down to the final game on the CFL calendar. The Calgary Stampeders we're looking to lock down a home playoff date as they've clinched a playoff spot a month ago and would be able to do that with a win. However the Saskatchewan Roughriders did clinch first in the West Division before kickoff so the Calgary Stampeders had to settle for the West Semi-Final. After a close game the Calgary Stampeders we're able to get their home playoff date as they seek to defend their Grey Cup title and hopefully get to defend it at home for the 107th Grey Cup. After recapping the final game. Give my final numbers, standings and thoughts about the 2019 CFL Regular Season for the Calgary Stampeders and look ahead to the playoffs on how it shapes up as all the match-ups are known. Calgary Stampeders 2019 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Game: Opening Video & Special Teams Introductions
For the final regular season home game I've captured the opening video and what was the special teams player introductions. As well Brandon Smith's final regular season home introduction. Brandon Smith announced he'll retire after the 2019 CFL Regular Season after 12 seasons all with the Calgary Stampeders. Final home game of the regular season still had much riding on the line as the battle for first in the west has heated up. Ultimately the winning streak at home continued so I'll keep making these. Hopefully there's still two more home games with the Western Final and the 107th Grey Cup for the Calgary Stampeders.
