Seattle WINS THE 1919 STANLEY CUP!! Or at Least the Kraken's First Home Win | Kraken R&R
The Seattle Kraken took on the Montreal Canadiens in the first (non-exhibition) game the Habs had played in Seattle in 102 years since the 1919 Stanley Cup finals was cut short by the Spanish Flu pandemic. In the same night Seattle hangs a banner for the 1917 Stanley Cup win by the Metropolitans they also get their first home win in franchise history.

Seattle Kraken fall apart in Philadelphia and lose big to the Flyers in Hakstol's return to his first NHL home. It was a sloppy night on both ends for the Kraken that put Grubauer in tough positions that lead to him leaving halfway through. Plus a chippy end with more action after whistles than in the game. Seattle Kraken preseason recap and Kraken fan reaction. The Seattle Kraken went 4-2-0 in the preseason beating the Canucks twice and splitting games with the Oilers and Flames. As with any preseason it wasn't always pretty but also had some encouraging signs. All in all for a new team I think it went well overall. On Tuesday we will start to see if they can transfer a similar amount of success to the regular season!
