The Seattle Kraken took on the Montreal Canadiens in the first (non-exhibition) game the Habs had played in Seattle in 102 years since the 1919 Stanley Cup finals was cut short by the Spanish Flu pandemic. In the same night Seattle hangs a banner for the 1917 Stanley Cup win by the Metropolitans they also get their first home win in franchise history.
