So today I had the 530 mile round trip down to the south coast where rovers where playing Portsmouth away; end result being a 2-1 win thanks to two goals from a very much in form Adam Armstrong. The win certainly made the long journey seem worthwhile and hopefully we will be ready to go again next Monday when we face Bury at home. The results keeps us in third place but joint on points with Wigan in second as they lost to Blackpool. Rovers managed to pick up a point today against our opponents Oldham Athletic, who brought along 2,000 away fans to spur them on. Overall I think that a point was good as we managed to come back from 2-0 down and in the second half we were much the better team. With Wigan and Shrewsbury both losing today it means that we can try and close the gap between them and try to get back into the second place spot next time round. Man of the match today was Jack Payne; he had another solid performance today and likewise did Adam Armstrong coming on in the second half. The next Match Day Vlog will be on Tuesday when Rovers travel away to Portsmouth down South; if you enjoyed the video then don't forget to leave a like down below and also subscribe to the channel, thanks and enjoy!
Match highlights from today's bout for rovers at Ewood park against Walsall; scorers for rovers today where Graham and Dack. Overall a very good performance from the lads, in particular Adam Armstrong who looked particularly good in my opinion and was unlucky not to score. Next Vlog will be Saturday 10th February when we play Oldham at home, if you enjoyed the video then don't forget to leave a like down below and also subscribe to the channel, thanks and enjoy!
Match Highlights from today's bout against Northampton Town at Ewood Park; last time round it was a 1-1 draw and today's game had just the same scoreline. Danny Graham was the scorer for rovers today and Amarii Bell picked up the man of the macth award on his debut game for us. Overall we could have been a lot better; Northampton played rather defensive but we couldn't make our chances count. Next match day vlog will be Walsall at home next Tuesday in the re- arranged fixture; if you enjoyed the video then don't forget to leave a like down below and also subscribe to the channel, thanks and enjoy!
So this week we headed of to Highbury where we had an away bout against mid-tabled Fleetwood Town, overall a brilliant result to win 2-1 and keep the unbeaten run going thanks to goals from dack and smallwood. We now move up into second place in the league and close in on that top spot which Wigan are holding firmly. The next vlog will be next Saturday when we play Northampton Town at home and look to get a win after that poor draw away just before Christmas. Thank you all for your support recently on the channel and for all the nice comments and messages that I have been getting; it really means a lot.
Todays bout against Scunthorpe United at Ewood Park saw third place take on forth as we fought to get a 2-2 draw with the visitors, both goals coming from Danny Graham. The results mean that we are still 5 points behind league leaders Wigan and a couple behind Shrewsbury. The next Match Day Vlog will be on Monday as Rovers travel away to face Rotherham at the New York Stadium. The great run of form continues tonight as Rovers managed a 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic with goals coming from the O.G off Best and a late one by Graham. We have now secured our place in the top three in the league and things are really taking shape for the lads on the pitch. My next football vlog will be Northampton away next Saturday; if you enjoyed the video then don't forget to leave a like down below and also subscribe to the channel, thanks and enjoy!
