Japan's Cusco Racing team had 6 cars entered at the 2018 Rally Hokkaido with 3 of those in the APRC field, that was won by Cusco driver Yuya Sumiyama, with Yasushi Aoyama in a Cusco Subaru 3rd. Sumiyama and co-driver Takahiro Yasui drove onto the finish ramp to be crowned the 2018 FIA APRC drivers and co-driver champions. They were joined by the whole Cusco team to celebrate winning the APRC manufacturer’s title for Skoda, the APRC team’s Cup and the Wurth Cup.
