WAC Championship NMSU MBB vs ACU 2022
The Aggies take on the 6th seed Abilene Christian. ACU is playing their fourth game in four days taking out Utah Valley, Stephen F. Austin, and Seattle to make it to the championship. They want to continue their streak of NCAA tournament appearances. Teddy "Buckets" was named tournament MVP. The first park of the game is missing since the Big Sky championship was taking over part of the time slot.
NMSU MBB vs UVU game 2 2022
After faltering against SFA and having their 31 home conference win streak snapped the Aggies are looking to bounce back against Utah Valley. Utah Valley is hoping for a sweep of the Aggies this season, ruining their chances of being WAC Regular Season Co-Champions with SFA and Seattle and knowing NMSU out of the number 1 seed in WAC Vegas. NMSU has 4 Seniors on the roster for Senior Night: Johnny McCants, Donnie Tillman, Yuat Alok, and Clayton Henry.
NMSU MBB vs Chicago State game 2 2022
This was the biggest WAC upset of the 2021-2022 season. The Aggies left key players back in Las Cruces due to sickness/injury. Chicago State played their hearts out on Senior Day. For reference NMSU were 17 favorites coming into this game.
NMSU at UNM MBB game 2 2021
The Aggies head to Albuquerque to avenge their loss to the Lobos. The first game in Las Cruces saw an Aggie team without Chris Jans who was on COVID Protocols, and a blackout lasting 50 minutes in the Pan American Center. The blackout knocked out all cameras in the PAC and required famous Aggie broadcaster, Jack Nixon, to call the game on his flip phone. This game was a back an forth affair that resulted in some questionable behavior by Aggie players at the end which included stomping and dragging their feet on the UNM logo. UNM player Jamal Mashburn had this to say on the incident: “I mean, we did it to them when we won [in Las Cruces] so we expect them to do the same when they won." If anything these antics will reignite the rivalry that has not seen as high of player passions in the last few seasons.
NMSU MBB vs UTEP game 1 2021
The Miners head to Las Cruces to take on the Aggies in their first matchup since December 2019.
NMSU vs SDSU Football 2021
The Aggies head to California to take on the Aztecs. They are hoping to improve upon the dreadful opening performance against UTEP.
NMSU MBB vs Dixie State game 2 2021
The Aggies look for their first sweep of the season and to go into the WAC tournament on a three game win streak.
