Miami Marlins get a key win, defeat Mets/DeGrom 3-0 (Chisholm HR-Marte and Rojas 2 hits each!).
The Miami Marlins improved their record to 2-6 on this young 2021 MLB season, with a 3-0 victory over the New York Mets and ace pitcher Jacob DeGrom. Trevor Rogers would pitch very well to earn his first victory of the season, as he would go 6 scoreless innings and strike out 10 Mets batters. DeGrom would also pitch very well for the Mets, as he would go 8 innings allowing only one run with 14 strike outs and 0 walks. The Marlins get ready for a difficult 4-game series with the Atlanta Braves starting on Monday April 12th.

Baylor Bears are National Champions, defeat Gonzaga- Indiana Hoosiers still last undefeated team
The Baylor Bears are the National Champions of College Basketball after a convincing 86-70 win over the Gonzaga Zags in the National Championship game that was played on Monday April 5th, 2021. Jared Butler would lead the Bears with 22 points, while Macio Teague would add 19 points and Davion Mitchell would chip in with 15. Mark Vital also led the Bears in rebounding with 11. In this video, I discuss the Miami Heat's 10-point victory of the New Orleans Pelicans Thursday Night, 109-93. The Heat would compensate for the loss of Bam Adebayo due to knee tendinitis, and would receive very strong performances from Jimmy Butler (29 points-9assists-3 steals) and Kelly Olynyk (18 points-10 rebounds-7 assists). The Heat move back to .500, as they sit with a record of 18-18 heading into the All-Star break.
