This will be a sports gambling episode, every game one for this year is 2021 NHL playoffs. We kick it off with the Washington Capitals hosting the Boston Bruins, the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting the New York islanders the Vegas golden knights hosting the Minnesota wild The Florida panthers hosting the Tampa Bay lightning, then tomorrow we have the Colorado avalanche hosting the St. Louis blues and Carolina hurricanes hosting the Nashville predators. Later on in the week we have the Edmonton Oilers hosting the Winnipeg Jets and the Toronto Maple Leafs hosting the Montreal Canadiens. Well all of the favorites prevail in game one unlikely since the Washington Capitals were a home underdog and won 3 to 2 in overtime. And there will be upsets there are some value pics. Doc Rivers to the Philadelphia 76ers Should players & Fans be happy or worried ? Raw Sports Talk

Welcome back to raw sports talk. In this NBA edition we will be talking about the hiring of Philadelphia 76ers new head coach doc Rivers. Doc Rivers and the Los Angeles Clippers parted ways mutually this off-season after the LA clippers choke the way I 3 to 1 series lead to the Denver Nuggets. Now my understanding or at least my thoughts are that now with doc Rivers in Philadelphia they are going to begin a fire sale. I keep reading about the speculations of them trying to trade Ben Simmons to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the number one overall pick. The Philadelphia 76ers tanked for a decade and should have a much better team than they presently have. I am unsure if the hiring of doc Rivers was actually a good move, there were plenty of big-name free agents that could’ve gone to the Philadelphia 76ers but chose to go to other places such as Kawhi Leonard LeBron James Kevin Durant just to name a few. Then you have players who left the team altogether like Jimmy Butler. Now what is this coaching thing was this a management thing what is this an ownership thing? Now if the problem was with management and with ownership doc Rivers will not help them sign any big-name free agents. I think on the surface it’s a good sell to the fans but if you dig a little deeper I’m not sure that doc Rivers is going to be the answer the Philadelphia 76ers need.
